STM-1330 DVB S2 Modulator is a high-performance modulator developed according to the DVB-S2 (EN302307) standard which is the standard of the second generation of European broadband satellite telecommunication. It is to convert the input ASI and IP signals alternatively into digital DVB S/S2/S2x RF output. It not only supports DVB-S2 output, and also supports DVB-S output. The  Output frequency RF range 950~2150MHz.

BISS scrambling mode is inserted into this digital modualtor, which helps to safely distribute your programs. It is easy to reach local and remote control with NMS software and LCD in the front panel.

With its highly cost-effective design, the STM-1330 DVB s2x modulator is wildly used for broadcasting, interactive services, news gathering, and other broadband satellite applications.

For the input STM-1330 support 1 IP (1000/100M) input, ASI and/or DVB-S2 tuner inputs for re-mux or pass-through, Or 1 IP (100M) or 1 ASI pass-through alternative for options.

For the outputs, there are DVB-S/S2 out, DVB- S2X out, QPSK, 8PSK, 16APSK, 32APSK, 8APSK-L,16APSK-L,32APSK-L, RF output (950-2150MHz), IF output (50-960MHz) for options.

Do you need DVB-S only or DVB-S/S2?

1. DVB-S was the first DVB standard for satellite, defining the framing structure, channel coding, and modulation for 11/12 GHz satellite services in EN 300 421.

2. DVB-S2 defines a "second generation" modulation and channel coding system for a very flexible standard, covering a variety of applications by satellite. New coding and modulation schemes as well as a new framing structure permit greater flexibility and more efficient use of capacity, and reasonable receiver complexity.

3. DVB‑S2 is compatible with Moving Pictures Experts Group (MPEG‑2 and MPEG‑4) coded TV services, with a Transport Stream packet multiplex. And it improved modulation and coding schemes, enhancing the efficiency of the space segment and giving the basis for providing interactive services.
